This is caused by a bug in the dependency-cache API, where it's not handling specified dependencies properly in uvicorn
, so its dependencies are not being installed. Will fix soon.

Second issue: There's a bug parsing console scripts that include spaces, which is affecting uvicorn
and gunicorn
. Fixed in latest commit.
The syntax is: pyflow gunicorn
. When installing/uninstalling, there should be a green message saying added/removed console script: gunicorn
.

Fixed on Pyflow's end. Try 0.1.1.
There's still a (subtle) problem on the dependency cache, where it works on my computer, but fails deployed. I've updated it for those two packages, so your use case will now work, but there's still something wrong; possibly the server timing out before done caching.
After upgrading, run pyflow reset
in your project directory to clean out the incorrectly-resolved dependencies, then pyflow uvicorn package:main
.

Fixed on Pydeps
end. Caused by Heroku using an old version of Pip; worked around by parsing the wheel directly instead of installing on the server with pip. This approach should provide faster caching as well, since it doesn't need to install child-dependencies (on server) to check which are required. If this works for you now, I'm prepared to close this.
