openmicnightserver's Issues

db initialization hint

I was just looking at your code:

var pgp = require('pg-promise');
var connectionString = {
    host: 'localhost', // server name or IP address;
    port: 5432,
    database: 'openmicnight',
    user: 'openmicer',
    //password: 'user_password'
};
var db = pgp(connectionString); // this is wrong;
var db = db(connectionString);

You are missing the initialization logic for the pg-promise library. The right usage is:

var options = {
    // pg-promise initialization options;
    // see: https://github.com/vitaly-t/pg-promise#initialization-options
};
var pgp = require('pg-promise')(options);
var db = pgp(connection);
