Dragon Slayer is a simple game written in Processing where the player has to kill a dragon with a limited number of ammos. This project was created for fun and experimenting with basic 2D animations.
To run and build the code, you will need to have the following software installed:
- Processing 3 or later: Download and install Processing from the official website https://processing.org/download/.
To run the game, follow these steps:
- Download the source code from the project's GitHub repository: https://github.com/delco97/dragon-slayer-game.
- Open the
DragonSlayer.pde
file in Processing. - Click the "Run" button in the Processing IDE.
- The Dragon Slayer game will start running.
To build the game as an executable file that can be run on other machines, follow these steps:
- Open the
DragonSlayer.pde
file in Processing. - Click the "File" menu and select "Export".
- Choose the appropriate export settings for your target platform (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
- Click the "Export" button.
- The executable file will be saved to the chosen location on your computer.
If the game fails to run due to missing libraries, you can install them by following these steps:
- Open the Processing IDE.
- Click the "Sketch" menu and select "Import Library".
- Search for the missing library in the "Libraries" tab.
- Click the "Install" button next to the library.
- The library will be installed and you can now run the game.
