Automated Pedestrian Detection - Questions and Recommendations

  1. How is CCoD planning to use the data collected by the Pedestrian Detection System?
    Would the data like speed, count and presence collected the Pedestrian Detection System be shared with other systems in the CCoD ecosystem?

  2. Are you planning to utilize the data collected by the system to visualize creatively, draw inferences out of the data, run analytics or carry out AI on it?
    Our enterprise solution can definitely play a vital role in running various AI algorithms on it. This can eventually help the CCoD in making intelligent decisions, prevent system failures, cater to inadequacies in advance.

  3. Has the CCoD zeroed in on the kind of backend that would employed for this solution? Whether it would be an RDBMS solution or a NoSQL Bigdata solution?

  4. Would the backend be internal to the system or is CCoD to using any custom solution which apart from being a data repository can also add value like AI/Analytics to the overall system? Having the data in a clear form or with obfuscation made available to the other systems can basically decide the future extensibility of the system into areas like AI and Analytics.

640X480 thermal cameras are typically not used for traffic applications.
