Password Locker

This is a python program that lets users generate and store their passwords.

Given Action Result
A user has an account On logging in to their account They can access account credentials
User wants to create new credentials They select the account they want to add or edit A password is generated for the user if he/she doesn't add one
User wants to edit credentials They select the credential to edit They are presented with the option to edit or delete the credentials

Setting Up

If you feel like using this project as your own you can do so, following the instructions below:

  • Go to your chosen directory.
  • git clone https://github.com/mikechumba/pass-locker/
  • cd your-dir/pass-locker

This project requires that you have python 3.6+ set up. You can follow the instructions here to achieve that, if you haven't

Running The Project

To run the project simply go to the projects folder using a bash terminal

  • cd .../pass-locker

Assuming you have python installed,

  • Enter python main.py in Windows, and python3.7 main.py in Linux.
  • Enter ctrl+Z to exit the code.

For Visual Studio Code users, the settings for my workspace can be found in the .vscode folder
