Thanks for writing such a great plugin!!

One question - when people are sending a private chat/message, the "Type a message" comments box, appears real small.

Is there a way I can change that to be larger?

Can your next release maybe default to a larger size?

Hi. Just passing along to let you know:

Clicking on "click here" sends the user to the wrong url.

bbPress Messages v2: Import older messages now from legacy data table. Click here to begin import.

Directs user to admin.php.php?page=bbpm-bbpm-import instead of admin.php?page=bbpm-bbpm-import

First of all, thanks for your plugin! I'm playing around with it on one of my sites and it looks great!

I was wondering if there's a way to decide in which position of the menu to put the "Messages" link.
I love the functionality but I'd rather not having the link at the end of the menu.

This shouldn't be working... although it does... weird.

It should be printf( __('Send a new message to %s:', 'bbp-messages');

Something like

Only I don't what you would like to put in there for the name attribute. If the name attribute can be empty then I can create a PR for your, else just let me know.

I loved the bbP-Messages plug-in.

But we just discovered that when we have both bbP-Messages activated, in addition to the EasyDigitalDownloads (EDD) plug-ins (which are a necessity on our site), then EDD starts to produce file not found errors, when users are presented with a secured download link.

I'm not sure what the incompatibility could be. They seem completely unrelated.

Any chance you could possibly look into a resolution and maybe create an update that fixed the incompatibility with EDD?

Hello there,

As described on this support topic , the plugin does not work on PHP 7.3 due to incompatibility with the new regex library PCRE2.

I found a fix that seems to be working, but not being expert on regexes, I do not guarantee it as a permanent solution. Anyway, if that's the solution, feel free to copy and release at your own risk. :)
