plasma-applet-popup-launcher's Issues

[feature] - remove launchers with right click menu

I user interaction improvement could be to be able to remove a launcher from the list without need to go to settings window. The user could right click a launcher and a menu could be shown with the option to remove it.

location of config file

Hi, I was wondering if there is a file I can edit by hand to update my application entries without using the GUI, or to simply copy and paste my entries from a Popup Launcher on one panel to a new Popup Launcher on a different panel, e.g., to transfer all my entries from a side panel to a top panel without having to go add each entry one by one via the GUI.

Thank you for any insight :)

When start an app the applet request an xfce4-panel in execution

Hi,
under mi Slackware 64 (current branch), I've updated KDE Plasma to the v.5.16 version, with Qt5 v.5.13.
Now, when try to launch any app configured on the applet, the respond with an error message that say "Impossible to add plugin to the panel: not found any instance of xfce4-panel in execution" .
I've installed xfce4-panel v.4.12, but don't have any other message to debug the launcher.

Any suggestion?

[Request] Add custom command

One thing I miss is the ability to add a custom application. For instance, I work with Google Spreadsheets, so I add them to the menu. On Windows, I can do this with PStart. This applet can only add apps from the list. Of course I can add custom things to the app list with kmenuedit, but then they'll show up in the standard menu too, and I can't hide them.

TLDR: add custom commands.

Please allow the widget to present all applications rather than custom choice of them.

Please allow this widget to present all of the applications that are available to it, rather than custom choice of them. If it did, I would be able to utilize this as replacement for the preinstalled Application Menu applet.

Two methods of implementation would be to adhere to what KMenuEdit configures, or to merely list all of what the directories that "http://wiki.archlinux.org/title/desktop_entries#Application_entry" specifies contain, as the relevant XDG standard advises.

[feature] - support dropping launchers from outside like the taskmanager

Hello, very beautiful plasmoid and it is something that was missing from Latte ecosystem also.

The feature is self explanatory, because I am not that fond of adding the launchers from the settings window, I propose an alternative. The user could be able to drag them from its app launcher and drop them at the popup launcher.

Missing buttons move / delete on app chooser

Use a couple of this launcher on the desktop, good enhancement, thanks for that
I think there is something missing in the app chooser (in my configuration of-course)
I do not see the buttons to move or delete items, attached a picture
I accidentally found out that they exist when i clicked in the space behind the app name.
I am using :
openSUSE Tumbleweed
KDE Plasma 5.12.5
KDE Framework 5.46.0
QT 5.10
Workspace theme Breeze

Any suggestions?

[Request] Key controls

You have Keyboard Shortcuts for launching popup or opening the drawer, but once up and open it is lacking key navigation controls to navigate to app to be launched. This would be a great feature! Either to be able to add secondary keyboard shortcuts to launch apps or configurable navigation keys for navigating to the app and launch through enter/return key.
