I switched mode after setting SSID from 2 to 3. It works better for me, because that way i still have connection to the ap directly, for example when setting SSID was not working properly (range problem), wrong pw or typo.

If there is no issue with this, i would suggest to have this as default as it's easier to debug, otherwise one loses connection to the AP and has to connect pins to reset the saved settings.

So far it's running fine like this.. Just as an input.

I could start the webserver, but as soon as i trigger a GET request, for example setting time. I get "Timeout" in Debug many times and after that my cactus micro disappears from device list.

I have to unplug and plug the cactus to have it up running again.

Hardware Serial is set, other wise no pin connected. Do i have to Connect any pins if i do not intend to flash the firmware of the esp because it has already the needed firmware on it?

And which PIN would be the ESP mode select? Could not find any info about it on AB-Wiki.

Any hint/help would be appreciated.

Hi Dirk,

Your code throws up an error - 'prog_char' does not name a type

If you change all your 'prog_char' to 'const char' (and do the same for other prog_"datatype" typedefs) it works great.

Nice piece of work, btw!
