DICOMweb-JS

DICOMweb-JS is an open source JS client for consuming DICOM Web Services - part 13 with a ASP.NET MVC demo that uses the Cornerstone viewer and cornerstoneWADOImageLoader

The code provide a basic library for sending DICOM Web requests and parsing JSON and multipart reposnses in (DIOCM, XML, Buld data...) .

The demo uses the library to connect to a DICOM Web server and initiate qido-rs for querying (studies, series and object instances), wado-RS for retrieving (study, series, object instance) and stow-rs for storing DICOM format images.

Building the code

This is an ASP.NET demo so you will need Visual Studio to build the code, you can download the VS2015 community edition or VS code. The JavaScript libraries are also built using Visual Studio and TypeScript.

Or you can use the dist folder to include the compiled JS files in your project.

how to deploy another OHIF dicom viewer or change the address of OHIF?

pagination is not working on Edge browser

The pagination control is not showing on Edge browser.

This is due to edge not returning the custom header "X-Total-Count" (might be related to bug: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/platform/issues/13364151/)

to convert DICOM image to .jpeg image.

Uploading large .DCM files to server does not work

Hi @Zaid-Safadi,

I don't know if there is still support on this app but here's my issue.

I have my server working on localhost:44301 and have no issues uploading small files (in terms of size) and even have a Standalone OHIF Viewer connected to my server and I can verify that my uploadings are working fine.

But for now, trying to upload a 700MB single .DCM file is not working and gives me the following error.

If there is any way I can do to make a large uploading possible ?

includefield not handled properly

From my interpretation of PS3.18:

includefield={attributeID} | all​ 0-n includefield / {attributeID} pairs allowed
to include multiple attributes the query needs to always repeat includefield, however dicomweb-js seems to concatenate multiple tags. also see the give example on page 76:

QIDO-RS menu on a study and series should query DICOM instances

When clicking on the QIDO-RS drop-down on a study or series the query is doing a study or series info query. This should be updated so it returns the Instances for the selected study or series.

Integrate the demo with the standalone OHIF Viewer to view studies

Add a way to view the studies using the standalone OHIF Viewer.

Since the DICOMcloud server now supports returning OHIF Viewer JSON formatted study data, see issue #10, the demo can use this to open a study in the OHIF viewer with the url parameter pointing to the DICOMcloud.

Multi-file upload not working

When trying to upload multiple files at once, only 1 file ends up on the server. The multipart/related request also shows only the first file in the payload. Can you reproduce?

Add pagination support

When querying Studies/Series/instances via qido-rs, use the Limit/Offset attributes and add pagination support to the UI

Add support to view a full study/series in the Cornerstone viewer

The cornerstone viewer is displaying a single instance image. This feature will allow displaying the entire series stack of images.

Include "HTTP Status Reason" when storing images fail on the server

As the DICOMweb servers and the DICOMcloud are encouraged to return the actual failure reason when a store fails in the HTTP message. The client should display this information to the user to clarify why a store might fail.

Demo display errors on the console window "getEnabledElement: parameter element must not be undefined"

The error "getEnabledElement: parameter element must not be undefined" is thrown by the cornerstone viewer when ever the viewer is resized.

i, congratulation for your work. I'm trying to run the demo to send images to dicomserver. But I fall in the error bellow, that is basic not found an csc;.exe.
