Hello David,

What kind of statistics do you mean? Can you share an example of the report you talk about?

The summary statistics report shows size, counts and percentages of scenes, actions, dialog, etc. for the overall script.

It would be nice to have an option to also see it with the same information for Act One, Act Two, Act Three, and so on. This would help me see if I'm winding down (or ramping up) a character's participation in the story and in which acts or whether an act is talk heavy or action heavy.

If I wanted to use this to help me organize my shooting schedule I would want the option to have it in a 5 deep sort (by Location, then by interior/exterior, then by time of day, then in order presented in the script). That way, all the scenes in the same location would be together. If I had the option to see the data separated by Acts I would get an overview of how often a character appears in each location in each act. In some story lines I can see that would be helpful, in others, totally worthless.

The location report partly addresses the suggested change for the Scene Report, but it doesn't include characters.

The cast report would benefit by the option of seeing its data separated by act. Supporting actors tend to fade out in different acts of a story and this would make it easier to see a character's scene may not have bee moved to the correct act as the story is restructured during editing.

The story structure analysis would benefit from start of Act headings at the correct timeline spots on the graph. Ditto for story activity report.
