#discus-lang IRC bot

This bot receives HTTP post events from github via the webhooks framework, and sends messages about commits to the #discus-lang channel on freenode.

We have used several services for this over the years.

  1. CIA.vc (went offline in ~2012)
  2. KGB (got broken when we moved from darcs VCS to GitHub)
  3. GitHub IRC integration (deprecated shortly after Microsoft bought GitHub, in ~2017)
  4. (and now) GitHub Web Hooks
