Building

To build the pptext binary:

go build pptext.go

Dependencies

aspell needs to be installed, as well as aspell dictionaries for desired languages.

Enable running without using an aspell dictionary

DistributedProofreaders/ppwb#10 requested being able to run pptext without specifying a language and aspell isn't run / used. This will require pptext to be updated so --aspell is an optional parameter and doesn't default to en.

Request from RP31 in Post-Processing Workbench forum - add Latin dictionary

Would it be possible to add a Latin dictionary?

Paragraphs which end in a period, question mark, or exclamation mark followed by Right Single Quotation Mark considered unexpected

Why are paragraphs which end in a period, question mark, or exclamation mark followed by Right Single Quotation Mark considered unexpected?

For example these 3 on my current output:

...“‘Well, youngster, what are you looking for here?’

...got yourself into a scrape with your meddlesome disposition.’

...“‘I am no beggar!’

Not an urgent issue.

Request from RP31 in Post-Processing Workbench forum - ignore short/long lines

It would be useful for my purpose to be able to skip the short and long line checks.

I am using it to check a text file which results from processing a Latex file to remove all the Latex stuff so the lines are much the same as the original and the short and long line output is longer than anything else.
