Who am I?

Setting the more existential question aside, I am Avi Miller.

During the day, I do open source things for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

At night and on weekends, my love for technology extends to annoying my husband with smart home upgrades as well as more useful stuff like volunteering for community-based organizations.

What's here

I am not actually a real developer, but I'm very good at pretending to be one on the internet.

Mostly I dabble. Every now and then I noodle on things too. The results of my dabbling and noodling can be found in the various repos herein contained.

I'm particularly proud of the following things I've dabbled with and noodled on:

• homebridge-button-platform: this is a plugin to Homebridge that allows you to add Flic buttons or an Elgato Stream Deck to HomeKit.

• docker-lifx-daydusk: this is a Docker image that implements the LIFX Day & Dusk functionality locally without any reliance on the LIFX Cloud. It also provides far more granular control of the transitions and bulb selection.

• Recently I became one of the code owners of the LIFX integration for Home Assistant, which is where I focus most of my attention these days.

I'm also rather proud of my contributions to Photons, a Python 3.6+ framework for interacting with LIFX products. Photons is used by the docker-lifx-daydusk container.

Not signing the packages. One or more of the key.asc and passphrase files and the GPG_NAME_EMAIL environment variable are missing.

Building issue on the OracleLinux7

Hi All,

I want to build subscription-manager package for Oracle Linux 7, 8 and 9. I have successfully able to build subscription-manager package for Oracle Linux 8 & 9.

But for Oracle Linux 7, multiple issues are being faced while running Dockerfile. So I modified it to resolve those issues, but even after that there are errors that I need your support to resolve.

My modified Dockerfile

Package signing on the OracleLinux 9

First thing I want to say is GREAT work on this. I REALLY REALLY appreciate you doing and sharing this project.

I thought I might bring to your attention that the Oracle Linux 9 build works if you do not try and sign the rpm's.

Looks like they changed some thing in the rpmbuild on 9 , I get the following error...

error: rpmbuild --sign is no longer supported. Use the rpmsign command instead!

This is not big issue for me, but thought you might want to know.
