Dieses Plugin für die WoltLab Suite erstellt in Ihrem Forum ein Willkommensthema für Ihre neuen Mitglieder. Eine Funktion, die durch andere Foren bereits bekannt ist und von den meisten als Begrüßung, Einleitung oder als Hinweis für die Moderation verwendet wird.

Hauptfunktionsweise:

• Erstellt ein Willkommensthema im Forum wenn sich ein neuer Benutzer registriert
• Bei Verwendung der Benutzermarkierung wird der Benutzer über das Thema benachrichtigt

Einstellungsmöglichkeiten:

• Auswahl des Zielforums für die Erstellung der Willkommensthemen
• Auswahl des Beitragsauthors/des Themenerstellers
• Festlegen eines benutzerdefinierten Thementitels
• Festlegen eines benutzerdefinierten Themeninhalts (BBCodes & HTML)
• Mögliche Verwendung des Benutzernamens im Thementitel und Themeninhalt (Erwähnung)
• Festlegen von benutzerdefinierten Schlagworten (Tags) für Willkommensthemen
• Option zur automatischen Schließung von Willkommensthemen
• Option zur automatischen Deaktivierung von Willkommensthemen

WoltLab Suite Forum: Welcome Thread

This plugin for the WoltLab Suite creates a welcome thread for your new members in your forum. A feature that is already known from other forums and is used mostly as a greeting, forum introduction or a a general moderation notice.

Main Functionality

• Creates a welcome thread in the forum when a new member registers
• If the user mention placeholder is used, the user will be notified about the thread

Settings:

• Selection of the destination forum in which the welcome threads will be created
• Set the post author/thread creator
• Set a custom thread title
• Set a custom thread content (BBCodes & HTML)
• Use a placeholder variable to mention the user in the thread title and thread content
• Set custom tags for all welcome threads
• Option to automatically close welcome threads
• Option to automatically disable welcome threads

wsc-welcomethread's Issues

Line breaks only possible using HTML

Because we are using the TextareaI18nOptionType, we have to manually add line breaks to the thread content.

Since we can use HTML and therefore <br />, this is not a huge problem, but it should be adressed in the future anyway.
