Base Docker Image

• dockerfile/ubuntu

Installation

1. Install Docker.

2. Download automated build from public Docker Hub Registry: docker pull dockerfile/python

   (alternatively, you can build an image from Dockerfile: docker build -t="dockerfile/python" github.com/dockerfile/python)

Usage

docker run -it --rm dockerfile/python

Run python

docker run -it --rm dockerfile/python python

Still publishing to Docker Hub?

Hi,

My local builds aren't working anymore because the dockerfile images don't seem to be published to Docker Hub anymore.

Can you confirm?

docker run -it --rm dockerfile/python

Change pull image to FROM ubuntu ?

Consider installing few more libraries

See issue # dockerfile/python-runtime/issues/1

Consider adding few libraries more, at least those, which are commonly used on GAE Python environ (libs for lxml and pyyaml).
