This repository contains the docker workshop exercises. They will guide you through the basics of Docker and get you using it on your local environment. You will need Docker installed on your machine to do these exercises.

Getting EAI AGAI error

While attempting exercise 9, I was getting EAI AGAI error on npm install command. while generating image from Dockerfile.

Did any one had same issue?

The container keeps running

I just completed exercisse-6 and the container is stopped, but the port is still accessible from 8080,
infact in later exercise i was unable to bind any container port to 8080 because it was already utilized

as you can see there is no container bind to port 8080 but yet the website is still accessible.

Can you please help me understand what can be possibly wrong here !?

Excercise 4 Vim Error

Vim is not installed by default in the Alpine Linux.

Change in step 9 exercise 2

9. Remove your container docker container rm
   this line should be changed to
   Remove your container docker container rm <ID>
