Partial selection / selection in selection disappears in DokiTheme

With Dark+

(_misc is selected, vsc does this double selection indication thing.)

With Rem

(_misc is selected, but you can't tell.)

Even worse with white items

(highlightBg is selected)

Windows and latest VSC + Doki Theme. Same issue with other color themes than Rem.

Describe the bug

When the new Welcome window is opened, the background becomes solid blocking the background completely.

To Reproduce

1. Open the new Welcome window

Expected Behavior

The background is semi transparent so the background is visible

can you please add support for normal visual studio and not only for vsc?

Hey, just wanted to let you know that when using the theme, there's a unsupported tag if look at the picture. It says that the Visual Studio is corrupted and asks that I reinstall lmao.

Whenever I run "Doki-Theme: Install kanna's second sticker", I get the error

Command 'Doki-Theme: Install Kanna's Secondary Sticker' resulted in an error (command 'doki-theme.theme.Kanna.secondary' not found)

Creating themes is hard, just post things that are inconsistent/hard to use.

Describe the bug
When selecting a custom theme, the settings dissapear. They are still there, but they are invisible.

To Reproduce

1. Set a custom theme using the Doki Theme extension
2. Reste VSC
3. See results

Expected Behavior
Only image should change, but the settings dissapear and i have to reinstall VSC to reset it.

I recently updated vscode insiders so when I tried to install stickers(why reinstall ?, workaround for #26 ) I got this error as in the screenshot.
The themes are working fine. Installing Stickers is a problem.

Sorry, this is my third issue. That shows how I love this repository.

I would love to hear some solution.

Describe the bug

Actually, when I upgraded my vscode Insiders from 1.51.0 to 1.52.0, The Sticker at the bottom right corner disappeared but the main one (at the mid) is still visible.

That sticker (Bottom-Right Corner ones) opens regardless of whichever active window. I really love that feature. Thank You For that. I would be grateful if you look into this issue.

Expected Behavior

• sticker which was visible at the bottom right corner should be visible.

• I guess this has something to do with the version of the Vscode. It was working fine in version Vscode 1.51.0

• Windows
• VS Code Insiders 1.52.0
• Doki Version v7.0.0

Some More Details

• It was working fine in Vscode 1.51.0 even it was vscode insiders.
• VS code (user) didn't receive 1.52.0 yet.
• I have used same Doki Theme (version 7.0.0) for both vscode(Users) and Vscode(insiders).
• This is not just for REM Stickers but also for others. I would provide even more screenshots if needed.

1. How do I see the stickers?...I can see the color theme but am confused on what to do.

As we probably all know, VS Code updates cause the Sticker and Wallpaper to be lost when they are installed. I was wondering if there is a way to automatically re-apply the Sticker and Wallpaper after the VS Code Version is changed.

Describe the solution you'd like

The Doki Theme should keep track of the last used Sticker and Wallpaper alongside the last VS Code version used.

Once an update is detected (version is changed), The Doki Theme detects this and re-applies the Sticker and Wallpaper, showing a message like:

Your Visual Studio Code installation has been updated. Please reload the current window to reload your Sticker and/or Wallpaper.
[Reload Window]

Describe the bug

I get sent to Doki Sticker Help when connected to WSL. I tried to solve this by pasting the provided command, sudo chown -R $(whoami) /home/kot/.vscode-server/bin/e5a624b788d92b8d34d1392e4c4d9789406efe8f/out/vs/workbench. However workbench does not exist.

To Reproduce

1. Open a VSCode WSL remote connection.
2. Install The Doki Theme extension.
3. Try to install a sticker pack.

Expected Behavior

The stickers are installed successfully or sudo chown -R $(whoami) /home/kot/.vscode-server/bin/e5a624b788d92b8d34d1392e4c4d9789406efe8f/out/vs/workbench works.

I have the latest Doki theme extension in visual code.
I tried installing the echidna wallpaper but it failed.
It redirected me to the sticker installation help page.
In the page, it said to run "sudo chown -R $(whoami) /snap/code/65/usr/share/code/resources/app/out/vs/workbench"
I ran it at terminal and tried installing the echidna wallpaper. Still same error which is "Unable to install Echidna"

I also tried running visual code as sudo and ran the command, still didn't work.

Just Put screens of things that do not look consistent.

I stumbled across this theme and liked it a lot, but it doesn't have my waifu, so I'm prevented by law from using it!
I think Makise Kurisu would make a great addition to this theme, is it a reasonable request?

On the latest version on the marketplace (12.2.2), the stickers option are available, but the background options don't show up when pressing Ctrl+Shift+P. I've reverted to version 12.2.1 and it works properly.

Just wanted to let you know; I'm fine with running the previous version, it's probably a bug on my machine.

When searching for something in the editor, I find myself also needing to select portions of the searched for phrase. It's a bit hard to tell what I have selected, cuz they are the same dang color..... Would be nice if it was easy to differentiate selection & search result.

First of all, I'm sorry for doing this as an issue, but by making the project construct itself from ten different places means I have no idea where or even how I should make this as a pull request. At least it is a VScode thing, so it's the correct repo.

Anyway, I've been tuning the StrickerService.js wallpaper installation script to make more stuff transparent/wallpapered, and here are my changes to it. I kept them separated so it would be easier to handle, but any class with "background-image: url('${wallpaperURL}') !important;" are identical to the one already in the CSS.

Wallpaper and Sticker not working.

I switch VSCode to admin then download the extension, switch to Rem Theme (works). Then I add sticker and background via ctrl+shift+p menu and restart vscode. Neither Wallpaper nor Sticker show up. Extension works in IntelliJ.

Describe the bug

When the WSL Remote extension is installed, it adds an icon (by default is green) that can be used as a shortcut to the WSL features. On some of the themes provided, the icon is indistinguishable from the background color.

To Reproduce

1. Install Remote - WSL (ms-vscode-remote.remote-wsl)

Expected Behavior

The icon has a contrast color so is easier to see with the themes.

Selecting "Remove Sticker/Background" option replaces sticker to Hatsune Miku and doesn't actually remove it.

It would be useful to publish the theme extension to https://open-vsx.org/, so that things like Gitpod or code-server can install it more easily. (The VSCode Marketplace does not allow non-Microsoft editors to use its extensions)

Looks like in the new catalina macOS, we can not change the permission as it is only a read-only file system. Any workaround for this?

I have been using Doki theme in both vs code and vs code insiders in Windows.
It seems vscode recognizes Doki theme extension files are not supported.
They seem to work fine. But just that message appears.
I have even attached the snapshot.

Problems faced:

• Whenever I open vscode, this pop-up message appears.

Actually I tried to make sure whether that pop up appears over this extension or not by reinstalling vscode and this extension. And I found it appears whenever I download some stickers from this extension (like rem).
Honestly, it's the best feature that I really appreciate.
I would be really happy.

As far I can say I face no other issues other than that pop-up

I don´t know why but after download the sticker always that I refresh VS appears the message "Your Code installation appears to be corrupt. Please reinstall.", and continue appearing after uninstall the theme

I think I've found the problem on my secondary computer !
It might be because in the path in css some char are not allowed or something like that
My appdata user is " Clem**'** " maybe the apostrophe is the big problem of everything ( and so i don't know if you can solve )

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 and tried to install a sticker, however it gave me an error. I entered a command that was in the Doki Sticker Help file which is sudo chown -R $(whoami) /snap/code/50/usr/share/code/resources/app/out/vs/workbench but the error is still there. Any thoughts on this one?

It is a bit annoying that I have to fix the checksums of VS Code every time that I install content. Would be really nice if the plugin just did that for me automatically, when I make any changes.
