Default NGINX page directly after DigitalOcean Droplet Setup about dokku

The dokku setup page was removed years ago since folks would forget using it and then have someone install a bitcoin miner on their server. The digitalocean docs are wrong (I'll keep this open to fix them on our site). You need to ssh onto the server as the root user and add your ssh key via dokku ssh-keys:add as well as set a global domain via dokku domains:set-global to complete the install now.

Ah gotcha, makes sense. I made this post because I went through the whole initial flow without this step and my final 'push' didn't work, so I assumed this was the issue.

Ended up creating a droplet w/o the template and installing it manually and it all worked fine! Appreciate the response

When you say the final push didnt work, did you setup the ssh key?

I did, but I think my actual initial issue has something to do with my domain configuration. When I installed from scratch I just used the droplets IP and got it working.

Would like to add here that you can -- and, as far as I'm aware, should -- remove the default Nginx page anytime with rm /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default.

Do note that you should be careful RMing stuff around in droplets, though.
