Migrate to the new Spotify Web API
Spotify launched a new API, called the Web API. Soon the Metadata API will be deprecated, so Autoplaylistpoetry should start using the new API. Migration seems to be simple.
Add proper configuration
Currently, Redis is configured in each relevant request. Flask config should be used for this. Also, separate configs between development and production.
Add embedded Spotify tracks to result page
Restructure Flask app
- Put the website and api in different blueprints
- Put the app in a package
Add logging
...because now there's none.
Upgrade to Bootstrap 3
As it stands, the app uses Bootstrap 2. This should be upgraded to Bootstrap 3, and if at all possible, a nice theme or even design should be added.
