Prerequisites πŸ› οΈ

  • Before you begin, make sure you have Python installed on your computer. You'll need Python 3 for this project. You can download it from python.org. Installation πŸ“¦
    • Install Python: Follow the instructions on python.org to install Python on your system if you haven't already.
    • You can check if python is installed by going to your terminal and running python --version; if it says Python 3.X.X you're in good shape.
    • Download the Project: in your terminal run git clone https://github.com/doomdagadiggiedahdah/cluster_super_sub
    • This will download all the files of this project into a folder called cluster_super_sub.
    • Install Dependencies: Navigate to the project folder, and run the following command: pip install pygame numpy

Running the Application 🚴

  • Open Your Terminal: Navigate to the project folder cluster_super_sub in your terminal.
  • Start the Application: Type the following command and press Enter:
    • python main.py
  • Follow the Prompts: The application will ask you to enter a value for 'n'. Input a whole number greater than or equal to 1, and press Enter.
  • Explore the Sounds: The application will generate superparticular ratios based on your input and play them one at a time. Listen and enjoy the harmonies! 🎼
