The seventeen layout uses the old deprecated \sc command for smallcaps in this line. This has long ago been deprecated, and KOMA script classes do not provide it anymore.

It should be replaced by \scshape or \normalfont\scshape.

The logo.xxx image files have very generic names which can easily be included by accident in unrelated documents as they are installed in the globally available search path in texlive.

Would you consider prefixing all the images as (say) ru-logo.pdf and adjusting the inclusions to match?

It could be useful to have the option to add a subtitle to the titlepage.

The package is not in CTAN(and probably shouldn't) and therefore it is very common that one uses the package by dropping the contents in the directory. This results into clutter and latex supports relative importing and therefore you can use sub or superdirectories. However, this results in the following bug:

With the following directory structure:

-- rutitlepage
  \- rutitlepage.sty
   - logo.pdf
   - ...
-- document
 \- doc.tex

If you add in the document:

\usepackage{../rutitlepage/rutitlepage}

Then it crashes with because it can't find the logo.eps or logo.pdf.

This can be fixed by adding the current directory of the stylesheet directory to the graphicspath.

It would be nice to have CI for rutitlepage.tar.xz and maybe for a zipfile containing the ctan required files.
