What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable Force Screen On in the Setting Menu
2. Activate Alarm (monitoring then starts and the screen goes dim)
3. Touch Screen becomes unresponsive.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Once the alarm is activated, there's no way of undimming the screen to see the
program of the monitoring. The only way I figured to turn the screen back on is
pressing the Home button which takes me out of the app but once I go back to
Electricsleep the screen goes dim again.
I wanted a way to undim the screen so I can monitor the progress of my sleep.
Would it be possible to add a feature such that tapping the screen would
momentarily turn the screen back on? As I write this out, I also realize that I
have no way of canceling the alarm once the screen goes because the screen does
respond to me.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using the latest version of ElectricSleep available in the Market. I have
Froyo on a myTouch 4G.

Hi,
Could it be possible to have so example of normal graphing?
It could help people to configure electricsleep.
I have personally problems to get good results, it is either too much sensible
or not enough (linked to the fact I sleep on a futon) and it would help me to
compare my results with "normal" one in order to be sure they are ok.
Also, could you add some docs about the options, for example for the sensor
delays thing, I really don't understand its meaning...!
Thank you

Hi,
First of all, I love this app. I have been using both electric sleep and sleep bot these days. I am also a user of Gentle Alarm, which is also a really good app. It now integrates with sleep bot perfectly. So I think your app should not reinvent the wheel and just integrate with sleep bot as well. One tracks the sleep movement one tracks the daily sleep. I saw it on their blog that they allow other apps to do it. Will donate if nice integration is done.
Thanks,
John

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I set my alarm for 8 am.
2. I set the early wake up at 30 minutes
3. I kept snoozing until 9:30 am
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected the app to record from 1 am to 9:30 am. Instead, the app only
produced a graph from 1 am to 7:40 am. 7:40 am was the first time the alarm
went off. The app said I only slept for six and a half hours when I slept for
about eight and a half.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. don't know how to reproduce, Calibrated b4 going to bed (0.0 and 0.45).
Started sleep action and verified recording and that motion was registering
(good). Slept. Awakened by independent clock radio. Moved..no alarm. Moved
more..no alarm. Picked up phone..alarm after a slight but notable delay (1/2
sec?). Display all green, showing current minute, not all night history.
2. tried to turn down the volume on the very annoying rooster while I tried to
figure out how to get the turn off alarm window only got ring volume..not
media volume
3. Started sleep again in the hope that I would get the alarm off option. I
got a constipated rooster for about a second and then the alarm continued...but
no off option. Did that twice.
4. Tried to turn off the app with "Advanced task killer". The app doesn't
show in the list.
5. Tried to turn off the alarm in the app's settings. Didn't work.
6. Had to turn off phone lost history (my SD card is not working...waiting
for a replacement)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Didn't get the turn off alarm option. Saw sleep history screen for the minute
of waking up. Had to turn off phone to get alarm to stop.

1. Set screen brightness to the minimum possible (using AdjBrightness or
CyanogenMod)
2. Set the phone to never sleep using KeepAwake or something
3. Run ElectricSleep for a night
My phone is found dead in the morning. This may be considered expected, but
just keeping the phone on without running ElectricSleep, or running another
similar program like Smart Alarm Clock or Sleep As A Droid doesn't cause so
drastic power drainage.

Would love to see additional alarm functionality similar to gentle alarm
(snooze limitations and different times between snooze alarms, some type of
test to determine if you ate awake) as well as alarms that are more
personalized like using a playlist or specific sound. Also it is sometimes hard
to see graph details because it is so small; would it be possible to add
zooming functionality to the graphs? Really looking forward to see the
development odd this app! Great work!

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run accelerometer calibration - my results on Nexus One = 600/1100
2. Go into settings -> calibration
3. Manual sensitivity sliders are pegged at the max, as they only go up to 200.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Manual accelerometer calibration calibration should allow much larger values. Up to, say, 2000 seems reasonable based on very quick playing around with the calibration wizard.
The current maximum of 200 on both of these sliders is not sufficient to be able to tweak the values created by the wizard.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- 0.1.1 beta, installed 26/10/10
- Nexus One, Android 2.2.1 - Froyo build FRG83.
Other Suggestions:
- The max values of the sliders could be ranged dynamically, based on the current setting/wizard results, allowing for variation between devices and not losing accurate adjustment.
- Deep Sleep slider could use a smaller range than the Light Sleep one.
