libreoffice's Issues

Script won't start because it's trying to use dash environment

Hey, I tried to run the script for adding the application colors but I immedately get this error /usr/bin/env: โ€˜dashโ€™: No such file or directory. There's a typo in the script, as I changed the /usr/bin/env from dash to bash and it worked

LibreOffice not recognising Dracula colour palette

Followed instructions on https://draculatheme.com/libreoffice for Windows with adding the .soc file to the palettes folder but the option does not appear as an option as pictured in either image.

Cannot be located in color scheme or color settings

The only relevant link I've found is #3 but I dont understand if the original question was resolved or not, and how that relates to the pictures on the website

Thanks

Cannot get it to install on macos 10.15.7 (19H2026)

If you're reporting an UI issue, make sure you take a screenshot that shows the actual bug.

I'm sorry, I can't do that.

I am not good at using the Terminal. I drag and drop things into the Terminal, which gives the whole heirarchy of my hard drive. It would be very easy for anyone to hack my system.

I offer as much as is safe:

</libreoffice-master> % <my user folder>/Library/Application\ Support/LibreOffice/4/user/config/libreoffice-master/install.sh
Copying palette to config directory ...
cp: directory <my user folder>/.config/libreoffice/*/user/config does not exist
Running add-dracula-application-colors.sh ...
./add-dracula-application-colors.sh: line 7: Support/LibreOffice/*/user/registrymodifications.xcu: No such file or directory
./add-dracula-application-colors.sh: line 14: realpath: command not found
cp: : No such file or directory
Settings file doesn't exist in expected location. Aborting ...

Have I missed anything you need to know?

Thank you!

K

Windows folder

Consider adding the windows folder (C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\share\palette) to the color palette into the install instructions.

Install instructions don't work on LO 4 (macOS)

Following the instructions for macOS, after restarting LO there is still only the default theme under Application Colors.

Is there a new location to put the theme?

Also, does this skin the entire application or just the document itself?

Handle XDG_CONFIG_HOME not being set

When running the add-dracula-application-colors.sh script on Linux I ran into the issue that XDG_CONFIG_HOME wasn't set, the error message here wasn't particularly helpful and meant I had to look through the script to figure out what was going wrong. The error message displayed was:

realpath: /.config/libreoffice/*/user/registrymodifications.xcu: No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat '': No such file or directory
Settings file doesn't exist in expected location. Aborting ...

There are two ways I think this can be improved:

  1. As it's almost certain that no one will have their config at root, then error earlier and state that XDG_CONFIG_HOME isn't set
  2. Default to $HOME/.config per the spec https://specifications.freedesktop.org/basedir-spec/basedir-spec-latest.html#variables

Happy to make any changes to the script but don't want to jump in if one option is preferred to the other
