stracciatella's Issues

Black drop shadow on player models and mobs

Running shader v1.5.0.1 via Iris on MC v1.9.3

EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm also running the Fabulously Optimized modpack v4.6.1, in case that has any problematic mods.

Noticed that drop shadows on my player model and mobs were totally black and not transparent as they usually are.

I fiddled with some settings to see what could be causing the issue, and found that toggling the Lightmap setting from Default to Simple fixed the shadows, but now I don't have colored lighting. Any idea on how to fix this, or is this needing a patch?

Why is this repo called like an italian food lol?

Shader wont load on 1.20.1

Hello i want to play with this amazing shader but i cant. Please fix this Problem.

deferred.fsh: deferred.fsh: 0(759) : error C1503: undefined variable "eyeBrightnessSmooth"

Enabling Shaders Creates a Flickering Blackscreen

Running a Vega 64 GPU w Windows 10 and Oculus/Forge, if that matters.

I tried both the 1.3 release and commit 7ebe942, as the latest commit seemingly fails to compile. I've also tried disabling every option I can in the shader options, only the "debug overworld" options removes the blackscreen,

Here's a full log running commit 7ebe942:

EDIT: And Sildur's shaders seem to work fine on this setup.

Custom heads display issue

Hello, i have an issue with displaying custom heads when using Stracciatella.

My system is Windows 11, Minecraft 1.19.2 with Forge and OptiFine v. HD U H9, other mods installed

  • Xaeros_Minimap_FP22.16.3_Forge_1.19.1
  • XaerosWorldMap_1.28.7_Forge_1.19.1
  • InventoryProfilesNext-forge-1.19-1.9.1
  • MouseTweaks-forge-mc1.19-2.23
  • kotlinforforge-3.8.0-obf
  • libIPN-forge-1.19-2.0.1

No external resource packs, only these two

This issue is on my server Paper version git-Paper-307 (MC: 1.19.2) (Implementing API version 1.19.2-R0.1-SNAPSHOT) (Git: 476ef25). I tested it opening local server in-game, it doesn't reproduce, only with Paper server. No plugins were installed on Paper server.

Sky bugs with darkness effect

now in the correct shader, whenever you get darkness by forced(/effect) or natural, your sky bugs with Sky: ON

Shader doesn't work on 1.20.1 Iris

Error:
deferred.fsh: deferred.fsh: 0(667) : error C1115: unable to find compatible overloaded function "getCustomLightmap(vec3, float, vec3)"

GPU: gtx1650Ti mobile
CPU: AMD 5 3550h
Windows 11
Also I have Vivecraft(VR mod), but shader doesn't work even if I disable the mod.

Shaders don't work on Linux (Ubuntu based distros)

Today I installed Pop!_OS, because I really enjoyed the Stracciattella shaders, while I was playing on Windows, but wanted more FPS, so I decided to install Linux.

Testing multiple Ubuntu based distros, the shader either crashes minecraft or simply doesn't work. This might be an issue with my configuration, but every other iris compatible shader works perfectly.

I hope is not too much of an inconvenience to ask you to fix this, and make it so the shaders work on Linux.

Extra information:
OS: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS
Kernel: 6.2.6-76060206-generic
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics (Integrated GPU)
I have installed the latest AMD drivers, but nothing seems to work.

Edit: this only happens on the latest version of Minecraft. I tried it on 1.19.3 and the shader works perfectly.
