would be very useful if the plugin would pre-compile the templates upon saving the file.
or have a pre-compile command that can be executed from the command palette.

Would be perfect.

Highlighting fails when generic views are used.

E.g.:

{{#collection id="my-collection" contentBinding="App.collectionController.content" tagName="ul"}}
  {{#view App.Item contentBinding="content"}}
    {{foo}}
  {{/view}}
{{/collection}}

Currently the highlighting regex requires:

{{#collection MyApp.CollectionView id="my-collection" contentBinding="App.collectionController.content" tagName="ul"}}
  {{#view App.Item contentBinding="content"}}
    {{foo}}
  {{/view}}
{{/collection}}

Ok, this is not really a bug. More of a request.

I think it would be helpful to add this bundle to the TM2 community site, so it can be discovered and downloaded automatically by the TM2 client. http://textmate.org/

Most tmbundles should work with Sublime Text out of box. Some of us [1] are running into errors with Handlebars.tmbundle:
