Apparently some projects have a .clang-format in their root, but it gets applied selectively. This means saving any file in that project triggers possibly undesired effects.
It also means that if someone doesn't have clang-format installed, he or she cannot save their work until they get it installed, which is annoying.

Getting

ls does not support --dired; see ‘dired-use-ls-dired’ for more details.

When trying to open a directory using dired

Something like https://emacs.stackexchange.com/questions/43657/copying-the-contents-of-source-blocks-to-clipboard/43660#43660 would be nice since copying code-blocks is very useful for "cookbook-style" org files

Using straight.el would allow better control for package versions and would also make it easier to edit/fix packages and open PRs.

Emacs 27 will read configuration from ~/.config/emacs so when it’s released we should rename the repo and move it there on all PCs.

In most text editing apps on mac M-<left/right> moves between words.
This will be more consistent for mac users.
Perhaps moving windmove to use s- instead of M- per OS.

I couldn't find a convenient-enough way of inserting code snippets other than that in the existing configuration
