Brief Overview

Police pursuits are one of the most dangerous calls for everyone, including officers, civilians and even the suspect. So in order to grant safety to all citizens of our county i’m setting available to all of our officers and communities a system that can reduce the dangers involved in such calls. I present to you “Star Pursuit”, a GPS Tracker that is deployed from police vehicles to a fleeing vehicle, this GPS tracker updates the officer of the vehicle’s every move. This plugin is based off of a real life gadget that’s being recently deployed in some local agencies around the US called “StarChase”

Installation

1. Download latest release.

2. Copy the folder "starPursuit" that's located inside "In Resources" to your FiveM's Server RESOURCES folder.

3. Add "start starPursuit" to your server.cfg

How To Use

Press TAB to deploy the tracker into the vehicle right in front of you.

Commands

/etracker	Engages a Tracker
/dtracker	Detaches from a Tracker
/ctracker	Deletes Specific Tracker
/ctrackers	Deletes All Trackers
/ltrackers	Lists All Trackers

0.75 Mile Freeze

Blip freezes when 0.75 mile away from player's tracked vehicle ( Reported by @Jake.Ryan#8156 )

Tracker Connection

the tracker seems to connect to a player instead of the vehicle itself. Is there a way to make it stay with the vehicle so when a person switches vehicles it doesnt put it on the other vehicle since its connected to them instead of the car?

I think it's worth making a whitelist for cars, this will help eliminate the use of the script by civilians.

Command /ctrackers crash FiveM

When i use command /ctrackers and i not have active track in tracker list (/ltrackers), command crash fivem

Commands dont work

Hi,
im using this for an esx server and it seems like the commands where not registered cause they are invalid on my side. Attach tracker via TAB works. But the commands to delete etc not

TAB Not functioning

This resource is not functioning. It starts up just fine, no errors are thrown in F8 menu or in the console. All commands work or at least I think they do since they show up in chat. But I wouldn't know because TAB never attached anything. I read and did some research and comments on your FiveM post suggest you are inactive.

If you have a spare moment, please think about updating this resource.
