I tested the shader on Unity 2017.3.0f3 and I confirm that the cutout is bugged, and I've tried a couple of fixes to no result :(

@Waloumi @dsoft20 @eliagseem I think I've pinned down the problem. I know it's probably been a while, and it may not matter to any of you anymore, but I'm currently working on a fix that brings compatibility all the way to Unity 2019.4.1f1.
