curriculum_builder's Issues

Responsive UI to CB

Report from the Customer UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO RIO GRANDE DO SUL - UFRGS (s5837110)

Below is my transalation from the Customer.

We identified another problem with the CB, which we consider serious and we ask for a solution as soon as possible.
We have already found that the CB is not fully responsive, and your viewing on mobile devices has some drawbacks.
However, after filling the "Text visible at the top of the screen" field, in the Curriculum Builder options screen, with a text with proxy configuration instructions accompanied by a link, it became clear that the lack of responsiveness in some parts of the CB is a problem.
Below how this text ("To access digital content ...") is displayed on the desktop:

Here's how the same screen is displayed on a smarthphone, with the non-responsive parts highlighted:

The text entered in the "Text visible at the top of the screen" field is practically unreadable if it is accessed by cell phone.
As we intend to use this field to help disseminate very important information in these times of remote access, we need this part of the CB to be also responsive.

Hi! I installed hosted curriculum builder to be use by our library. Followed the instruction in the github page of the Curriculum builder. We can not proceed in using further Curriculum Builder because we're getting the following message when clicking the External Tool for EBSCO Host: "The reading list tool requires the use of cookies. Please insure you allow cookies from this site." Although this is self-hosted, I hope you can help us figuring this out. Thanks in advance!

Notice: Undefined index: credential_id

Hi,

We have installed and configured Curriculum Builder Everything looks fine,I have configured it following the instructions, but when I try to run it, the following message is displayed:

Notice: Undefined index: credential_id in E:\webapps\htdocs\Soporte\cbuilder\rest\EBSCOAPI.php on line 249

The reading list tool requires the use of cookies. Please insure you allow cookies from this site.

The content of this line is:

$credential_id = decryptCookie($_COOKIE['credential_id']);

I have checked thar Mcrypt is installed and running, and the PHP versión is 5.5.15.

I know that this hosted versión has not support, but I will be grateful if you could tell me what can I try to fix it.

Best regards,

Javier
