Guide to usage?

If planning to share your code/workflow with others then a guide to usage would be useful.

Externalise dependencies?

Would the following be best managed as external dependencies rather than included in this repository? It would keep the repository much smaller and may make it easier to switch to newer versions of dependencies

  • possibly others...

Hard-coded absolute paths

Is it possible to switch to using relative paths? At present, the hard-coded references to /home/michail in several files might be problematic for others wanting to build and run your code.
