Trying to get a generator created.

How can I set the variables that are in the erb templates?

For example, I want to change 'copyright_holder' to my company name.

Can I open issues on my own projects?

I apologize if this is a noob question, but i cloned this cookbook and am able to run it no problem, however none of my changes get reflected when i run the chef generate cookbook command?? Im not sure what ChefGen::Flavors.path refer's to, and how to i point it to the cookbook on my local hard drive?

Thanks for creating this (and writing it up). Just want to let you know I'm working on a change in ChefDK so you won't need to name the cookbook "code_generator" in the future (though of course you can still name it that if you like): chef-boneyard/chef-dk#265
