The current versioning is not a valid semantic version. The swift package manager only allows specifying versions which use the semantic versioning scheme and therefore the current latest release "1.01" is not usable.

Would it be possible to create a new release e.g. "1.0.1" which would allow us to specify the version in our package?

In PR #3 a podspec file was added to this repository but the pod was never pushed to the trunk. Currently, only the fork by @HannesVDB is in the Cocoapods directory. Would it be possible to publish this repository directly?
We want to lower the deployment target of the admin-ch/CovidCertificate-SDK-iOS#74 to iOS 11 which is not satisfied by the fork of @HannesVDB.

In this project, only considered the implementation inputting normal ascii characters.

If an input data is hexadecimal ascii [00-FF], I think the result of encoded data will be shorter than now.

Is there any way to encoding the hexadecimal ascii string ?
