In some cases, the same value gets value_add_reference() called on it twice when it should be called once or does not have value_remove_reference() called when it should be. This leads to memory leaks. About 320 thousand values are leaked when running the compiler on itself, for example.

Some examples of values that should have value_remove_reference() called on them are non-final expressions in a sequence and the bodies of while loops.
