Building

qvs is developed based on Qt5.

See build.md for more details.

Issuse

GitHub issues GitHub closed issues

VapourSynth is developing fastly, so API expiration problems are easy to occur.

Leave your issuse for any question.

Future

  1. May add audio track support, but depending on the update of vsedit.

  2. About Blockly, Qt support for the web (blockly) is unfriendly, and Qt itself still has a large number of bugs. Consider adopting it in the future .NET technology substitution.

C++/Qt development is too time-consuming so may use .NET/WPF or .NET/MAUI in the future development.

qvs's Issues

VapourSynth-Editor r19 not support vapoursynth R57

In the qvs r17 version, vapoursynth has been upgraded to R57, but the official version of VapourSynth-Editor r19 does not support preview, and the preview will display "Error forming pixmap from frame. Expected format CompatBGR32. Instead got 'YUV420P8'".
When replace the VapourSynth-Editor with r19-mod-5 and it will work fine. Can you consider updating the Editor to https://github.com/YomikoR/VapourSynth-Editor

Another, sometimes audio cut is needed, if it can directly provide built-in support, such as adding a cut file to the audio processing.

Thanks for the GUI.

Timestamps are unset - error

I get the following error:

Timestamps are unset in a packet for stream 0.
Can't write packet with unknown timestamp

I'm trying to encode with any of the available encoders with a .vpy as input, which includes lvsfunc.scale.ssim_downsample. My source only has a video stream, nothing else. The error message seems to originate from ffmpeg, but the solutions I've found online for this error in ffmpeg did not help. The "show help screen" for Custom Encoder Parameters has no mention of timestamps, and i've tried manually setting fps to source's fps.
Other vapoursynth downscalers worked without issues, only when using ssim_downsample do I get this error.

Merge of some softwares?

Is it a software merging Simplex264Launcher and vsedit and mediainfo etc? Looks identical......

No GPU support?

I have a rendering GPU. can't utilize it... No options to switch to GPU in preferences

How to use this with vapoursynth?

Can you please provide us some type of documentation or video on how to get the gui on vapoursynth?
I have vapoursynth installed but how do I get this GUI working with it?
