So far, the only side effect of this extension I have identified is that it messes up the formatting of the Semantic queries notification on the page editor. Without the extension, the message appears in a gray box above the edit text box. With the extension enabled, it puts the message below an empty gray box but just above the edit box.

May be related to how html fragments are passed to ParserAfterTidy instead of the completed page, so LibXML tries to fix the "missing" tags when read into DOM objects in PHP.
