synology-drive's Issues

fc37 no context menu/overlay icons

Hi,

Just installed your package the first time.
Everything went well, except that i didn't got the context menu/overlay icons in nautilus

Best regards,

Install fails on rpmlib

Will admit my linux skills are average. Not a seasoned admin here. Here's what happens when I try to run:
sudo dnf localinstall synology-drive-3.1.0-12923.x86_64.rpm

Distro - Centos 7.9

Running transaction check
Error: transaction check vs depsolve:
rpmlib(PayloadIsZstd) <= 5.4.18-1 is needed by synology-drive-3.1.0-12923.fc35.x86_64
To diagnose the problem, try running: 'rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest'.
You probably have corrupted RPMDB, running 'rpm --rebuilddb' might fix the issue.
The downloaded packages were saved in cache until the next successful transaction.
You can remove cached packages by executing 'dnf clean packages'.

Context menu for KDE Dolphin?

Hi,

thanks for this awesome package. It's a shame Synology doesn't provide an official rpm.

I'm using Fedora with KDE and I've installed your package with the "no extra" variant.
Question: Is it possible to get Synology Drive functions via the context menu in Dolphin?

Edit:
Just realized that things like "on demand sync" are absent. It synced my complete home folder from my NAS locally.
Am I doing something wrong or is it because I'm on KDE? Sadly, in this state it's not useful at all :/.

Thank you!

Can't access to mounted file system

Hello
I have installed the Flatpak 3.4.0 version from Gnome Softwares inside my Fedora Workstation 39/Gnome.
I want to configura a backup of files inside a file system mounted as /home/JDR. But the client doesn't allow me to go outside the / filesystem. I tried by adding a symbolic link inside my /home/ but the sylbolink link isn't displayed in the files explorer of the client and if I choose the folder containing that symbolic link and run the backup, it won't save anything inside the symbolic link. And I find no way to manually type the path (like when doing ctrl-L in Nautilus.
So here I see 2 issues :

  • no follow-up of symbolic links for the backup global path
  • no possibility to switch to another file system or to manually type the path
    Thanks

I'm getting this warning, I thought it was best to let you know.
