mira's Introduction

MIRA: Multi-aperture Image Reconstruction Algorithm

MiRA (Multi-aperture Image Reconstruction Algorithm) is an algorithm for image reconstruction from interferometric data. The software is written in Yorick and expects data file in the OIFITS format.

A quick way to install MiRA is to use EasyYorick script which takes care of downloading, compiling and installing all needed code. Otherwise, see Installation for prerequisites and instructions to install MiRA.

The man pages of MiRA give all options. See Usage for a short introduction about using MiRA.

mira's Issues

Broken uption use_vis2=none?

The command line option -use_vis2 seems to have no effect on the data considered for imaging. Whether set to 'none' or 'all' the code always reports a line similar to the following
"INFO - will fit 67 OI_VIS2 data"

plugin name in PROCSOFT

PROCSOFT keyword must contain the name of the plugin.
It is a small things to do, I can do it if you don't have enough time.

Model columns

MiRA should add an extra column in OI_VIS* OI_VIS2 OI_T3* tables containing the model
