EPFL Dojo app

A Quasar project that aims to centralize tools and communication for Coding Dojos at EPFL.

Initial Setup

# clone the repository
$ git clone [email protected]:epfl-dojo/dojo-app.git && cd dojo-app

# install dependencies
$ npm install

# serve with hot reload at localhost:8080
$ quasar dev

# build for production with minification
$ quasar build

# lint code
$ quasar lint

Cordova

• Check with connected Android:
  cd cordova && quasar build && cordova run android

• Release signed APK:
  cd cordova && quasar build && cordova build android --release -- --keystore="epfldojo.keystore" --storePassword="XXXX" --alias=epfldojorelease

Electron

• Build electron package:
  cd electron && quasar build

• To create a .deb file:
  cd electron && quasar build && electron-installer-debian --src dist/EPFLDojoApp-linux-x64 --dest dist/installers/ --arch amd64

Versions

Note: when pushing a new version, be sure to check:

• package.json
• src/App.vue
• electron/package.json
• cordova/config.xml

Page's title fix

Reduce the height (padding top) of pages for the android app

Add i18n/multilingualism for the app

Retrives ideas from GitHub projects board

The /ideas page have to get the data from the ideas column of https://github.com/epfl-dojo/dojo-app/projects/1.

EPFL dojo contributors

The list doesn't seems to be up to date or at least with all member. We should also find a way to avoid contributors from forked repositories.

How anchor link does work with vuejs ?

It would be legit to want to link an anchor in a page, as in https://github.com/epfl-dojo/dojo-app/blob/master/src/components/About.vue#L28
As in vuejs/vue-router#580 and vuejs/vue-router#434, nothing relate that it shouldn't work. The id=foo should be prefered as the a element has no name attribute (see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/484719/html-anchors-with-name-or-id).
