Maybe use webpack. It will enable you to automatically save your changes and watch them live.

Add to webpack config:

devServer: {
    contentBase: distDirectory,
    hot: false,
    port: config.port,
    host: config.address,
    public: `localhost:${config.port}`,
    disableHostCheck: true,
  }

Package.json add this or just use the command:
"dev":"webpack-dev-server --config webpack.config.js --open --client-log-level warning"
