pyconz's Issues

Demo failure

I'm trying to use this code to play with my IoT devices without deCONZ, but your demo script is failing. It looks like the zigpy v0.1.0 library is missing some commands/message types, but there's no other version available. Do you have an updated zigpy that you're using, or could you show me how you set up the 0x8031 response? (I've tried a few things, but each time either demo or zigpy complains about my format).

Tag release versions and make PyPi release(s) of pyconz

@Equidamoid Please tag an initial release version of pyconz and also make PyPi release of pyconz.

An initial PyPi release version and then continues versions/releases will make it easier for Linux distributions like Raspbian and Hass.io to use this library.

Version tagging and PyPi release(s) is something that is already available for the zigpy library as well as similar radio libraries bellows and zigpy-xbee

https://github.com/zigpy/zigpy/releases
https://github.com/zigpy/bellows/releases
https://github.com/zigpy/zigpy-xbee/releases

Change your PyPi reference for the Zigpy library dependency from "zigpy" to "zigpy-homeassistant"

@Equidamoid There is also newer versions of Zigpy now distributed as "zigpy-homeassistant" on PyPi

https://pypi.org/project/zigpy-homeassistant/

So you need to change your PyPi reference from "zigpy" to "zigpy-homeassistant"

https://pypi.org/project/zigpy/

Reason for this is that @@rcloran has gone missing and not shared admin access to zigpy on PyPi

https://github.com/zigpy/zigpy

Zigpy is still being developed on GitHub by many developers now, so only PyPi reference changed.

[SUGGESTION] Migrate pyconz repository to upstream zigpy organization even if only kept archived for reference

@Equidamoid even if this project is now abandoned or put on ice until further notice, I still want to suggest that you please consider talking to zigpy organization community developers Adminiuga & dmulcahey about the possibility of you joining the zigpy organization @ https://github.com/zigpy/ as a member even if just to have your pyconz repository here on GitHub moved to that upstream zigpy organization @ https://github.com/zigpy/ as an archive reference so that the mainstream copy of this repo will remain archived there for reference in the upstream zigpy organization and thus access will always be possible upstream zigpy organization so that this is not lost for reference?

That is, move repo from https://github.com/Equidamoid/pyconz to https://github.com/zigpy/pyconz

That way all developers that are members in the zigpy organization including yourself can have repository ownership and access all zigpy related projects which will then be owned by that zigpy organization collaboration community that will hopefully grow over time? Again, even if the pyconz repository would just be an archive reference in this case.

I know that you already seen the related suggestion I posted as an issue in the upstream zigpy repository at zigpy/zigpy#319 where you replied "pyconz in kind of dead right now".

FYI, I posted a similar suggestion in regards to zigpy-cc by sanyatuning and he liked the idea so aksed Adminiuga & dmulcahey who extended an invitation to sanyatuning and the zigpy-cc repo has since been moved upstream to the the zigpy organization, see zigpy/zigpy-cc#13 and zigpy/zigpy#319

Regardless I hope that you could all come to an agreement that will make everyone happy with sharing access to the pyconz repository without anyone getting offended by ownership conflicts.
