I can save raw tile sets, and load or save raw tilemaps. But for loading tile sets, only BMP picture format is allowed. Please fix this. I really want to be able to import raw tile sets, as I have a source that's exactly that, a raw tile set.

AFAIK the 'Import' button is supposed to load a .pal file to change the palette that's used on the tileset. I clicked several times, but nothing happens. Export does work fine, i think.

8 BPP index images do not load correctly as a Sprite.

I have being using your tool for a long time and I must say that it is way better than NTME and it helps to make the tilemap easily. But recently I have shifted from Windows due to security reasons.

The tool is made in C# which only supports Net Framework and makes it Windows exclusive. I think your tool would more be used if it is cross platform. Many people don't use Mono and WINE. I also need this awesome tool for Linux as well :p

Tilemap-Creator does not let you make a tileset from an image that contains more than 1024 tiles, even if the finished tileset will have less than 1024 tiles. This makes creating backgrounds for any screen size greater than 32x32 tiles challenging.
