WBV Calculator

WBV Calculator is a tool to calculate Whole body vibration exposure from small wearable accelerometers according to ISO 2631 standard. We can use this tool to measure whole body vibration exposure using Axivity AX3 or Axivity AX6. Theoretically any other triaxial accelerometer with sufficient range and high enough sampling frequency can be used with minor changes to data file loading part of the software.

User Interface

Installation:

  • Download the tool from Github releases and double click the file WBV_Calculator_SelfExtract_XXX.exe to extract the executable file to a folder of your choice.
  • Install Matlab Runtime 2020b for Windows 64bit from this link
  • Then start the executable file WBV_Calculator_XXX.exe to start the software.

Usage and support

WBV Calculator is no longer under active development. Consider it as a beta software and it is not recommended for critical tasks. See the license below for usage. You are encourage to use the source for your own projects if you adhere to LGPLV3 license (see below). Report bugs via GitHub (will be addressed as time permits). Contact Pasan Hettiarachchi for more information.
