The Factorial Mass Univariate ERP Toolbox (FMUT) is an extension to David Groppe's Mass Univariate ERP Toolbox. The FMUT implements permutation and false discovery rate based mass univariate statistics for ANOVA and factorial designs for event-related potential (ERP) data.

fmut's Issues

bin_mean not found

Hi @ericcfields ,
many thanks for your work. I am testing FMUT on some old datasets (see this GitHub repo): in the main script test_FMUT.m I can successfully run FmaxGND on a 2x2x2 design. However, I encounter a peculiar issue when attempting to run pairwise contrasts: I cannot average over bins because I cannot locate the function bin_mean. I have looked for it in both the Mass Univariate ERP and FMUT folders, to no avail. I don't think it's a path issue, because all other FMUT functions in the script work properly.

I hope I explained my issue clearly, thanks for any help you can provide.

FMUT ERP report

Hello,

I'm using the FMUT ERP toolbox, performing an ANOVA of 2 x 2 factors, with cluster procedure, and I need to know the right way to report the methods and results of this analysis using this toolbox. Could you provide an example?

Best,
Juan

FclustGND factor_names

Hi Eric,

Thank you for developing this great resource. I am trying to analyze my ERP data using FMUT but I can't figure out how to code in the factor names. Do you do this when creating bins in ERP lab? I can create 4 bins for the 4 conditions (2x2) but I don't know how to code in the factor names. Also I tried running FclustGND and got this error:

Check for incorrect argument data type or missing argument in call to function 'iqr'.

Error in spatial_neighbors (line 116)
    median(chan_dist),iqr(chan_dist)/2);

Error in FclustGND (line 368)
        chan_hood = spatial_neighbors(GND.chanlocs(electrodes), chan_hood, p.Results.head_radius);

I'm not sure if that has to do with the previous problem or not. Can you please advise me on how to troubleshoot these issues?

Thank you, Eric!

Daniel
