For Modifying

Hololens development only works on Windows machines. Windows 10 is preferred. Follow the following steps in order to run the prototype:

  1. Download and install Unity 5 as well as Visual Studio (2015 or later) see the following link for help: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/install-the-tools
  2. Download this project
  3. Open up this project by opening up one of the scenes or importing it
  4. Download the packages HoloToolkit-Unity-2017.2.1.4 and HoloToolkit-Unity-Examples-2017.2.1.4 found here: https://github.com/Microsoft/MixedRealityToolkit-Unity/tree/master/External/Unitypackages
  5. Import these packages as assets
  6. The project should now be editable

  1. Connect Unity to device
  2. Press play

To Deploy

  2. Open Visual Studio Solutions file
  3. Deploy App to device
