Kontrol S5 now shows "undefined" where the Camelot key should be shown, when attempting to change keys.

The goal is to let people search (a part of) the database and mark request songs on small parties.

Is it possible to let people search the database, or a part of the database and mark songs so that the dj can see somewehere in traktor requests coming in.

possible solution, thinking outloud:
Maybe let people searching through a webserver database (copy of traktor database) and then through api put the request in some dedicated traktor playlist or something...

It would be useful to see the musical key on the deck screen for reference, since when browsing into other playlists on the other deck screen that doesn't contain the currently playing track, the musical key won't be visible..

As in, with the current screens, the only way to see the musical key of the currently playing track is to refer to the playlist that contains it on the browser screen, which isn't ideal when you're looking into other playlists for the next track.

It would be useful if the screens matched the musical key style that is set in Traktor preferences.

For example, if the musical key is set in the Traktor preferences to "Open Key", then the screens would use open key notation instead of Camelot key.

This would match what is set in Traktor.

I'm trying to understand the code, and trying add the modification of BPM adjustment to go 1 per without holding shift.

Is this done with the following lines?
in S5Deck.qml

      Wire { from: "%surface%.browse"; to: "decks.1.tempo.fine";   enabled:  module.shift }
      Wire { from: "%surface%.browse"; to: "decks.1.tempo.coarse"; enabled: !module.shift }

I see that you have them repeated for each deck, how about Master BPM and the Tempo encoder?

Also, is there any risk to brick my S5 by messing the .qml around or is it safe to experiment?

Hey, do u updating the Mod for traktor 3, cant wait to Play Traktor 3 with the Prime display Mod :D.

The title is pretty self explanatory.
Not sure if this is intentional or not, but this handy feature from the original version no longer works. Re-enabling it would be a fantastic improvement!

I tried to install it on Traktor 3.10.1.16

The controller is not recognized anymore when restarting Traktor.

Is ther anything I can do?

HI I updated to Traktor 3.3.0 which failed, I followed and downloaded the new update for the nexus but I have a different display this time it looks a lot like the prime version. Is there a folder I specifically need to copy and paste?

With the Supreme mod, you could just hit (shift?) [FX Select] to access the mixer FX menu for the current deck, is it possible to implement something similar in this mod?
It guess it might not be as easy since it would need to output the current possible mixer FX selections for this to be usable.
This is mainly for the S8 and maybe S5.
It's pretty much the only missing feature that I was relying on. I have since midi-mapped shift+mixer fx knob to mixer fx selection but it would be nice to have some feedback through the screens on the device.

Hi Erik! Could you be so kind and tell me why the spectrum waveform colors are gone from D2's screens in this update? Why have you chose the basic (blue) color?

Is it possible to switch the browser knob to the loop knob. Can it be done by changing the codes in qlm..

Fresh install, followed installation instructions, and this beat counter does not seem to work.

(By beat-counter I am referring to the 1 red and 3 yellow boxes up top and the --.- next to it)

I‘m searching for quite a bunch of time noe, but I just can‘t find anyone who is focussing on how to get Traktor S5/S8 and D2 Displays working with rekordbox or else.

Is there any idea by now ?
Is there a chance to get this work, other then to „fake“ a HW Device, like done for the jogwheel issue ?

I‘m not sure, if this is the right way to contact you and ask this, but I did not find another way.

Hi I run Traktor 3.2.0 with two CDJ 2000 nexus 2's in Hid mode, I have added a Kontrol D2 and want to change the screen layout to the Nexus edition qml hack. Would this interefere with the screen read outs on the Hid Cdj's waveform etc. or just alter the kontrol D2 layout etc?

The goal is while playing (without laptopscreen, lit closed) songs from a large library to mark nice songs.

Is it possible to map a (shift) hardware button on the controller to directly rate a playing song with for example 5 stars?

The 4 beat counter rectangles constantly appear blank and no longer fill up in line with the beats (still works on Prime).

It seems the bars-per-phrase on the screens doesn't match what is set in Traktor.

e.g. when 8 bars-per-phrase is set in Traktor, the screens still use 4 bars-per-phrase.

Tested Main and Prime/Nexus and found Key Match Not Working on the Kontrol S5 - Traktor 3.11.0
Master deck selected and playing, no indicator for key match on the Kontrol S5.
