Problem
Due to the way the board is scanned for a winning move, the following position (and others like it) results in a win as shown below.

Solution
Add a parameter of type 'Maybe (Int, Int)' to the checkDir function specifying a minimum and maximum bound to search through. This will be assigned Nothing for all calls made to the function with the exception of checking horizontal directions, in which case values will be set such that:
