cli-discord's Issues

If scrolled up, don't scroll back down on new messages.

Should include some type of indicator to display that new messages have been added, so the user knows they're there without having to scroll away from where they are.

Use role colors in chat

When displaying usernames, the color of their name could be a 256-color approximation of their role's hex code.

Pressing up or down in the guilds/channels lists before things have loaded crashes the cli

Sending messages

The CLI should be able to send messages in the currently selected channel.

Quick Switcher-type interface?

It might be neat to have a hotkey to bring up a quick navigation bar thing like Ctrl+K does in the official client.

Handle alignment of Unicode characters in names/nicks

Some unicode characters report a length of one, but are replaced by Blessed with two question marks. Some have the opposite problem. When these characters appear in messages or nicknames, they mess with alignment and make things look bad.

Markdown highlighting

Markdown syntax should alter the appearance of text in the messages.

Autoscroll on new messages doesn't work

When a new message comes in, the client should scroll to the bottom of the messages view to see it.
