Can you share which EV chargers have you been testing/developing with?

I've seen the issues on the Elli (VW group) chargers, and some mentions of PMCC (is this the Taycan charger?), are there any more?

Currently the Elli charger times out and closes the connection exactly 10 minutes after the last EEBUS message was sent. This happens mainly when no EV is connected, as the heartbeat messages are sent only to the EV entity in SPINE Version 1.1.

Nearly 10 minutes after that connection close, the mDNS entry is published again and the connection starts from scratch. This is 20 minutes after the first mDNS discovery (TTL).

This looks like an issue with the Elli EEBUS stack, but needs to be verified. I don't know anything in the spec that requires the HEMS to periodically sends a message, but maybe I just haven't noticed this part in the spec yet.

First of all, you are doing a really good job here. But I would to know if there is the possibility to adopt English as the main base language for discussion on PR and Issues. The reason is that for those who do not speak German is very hard to follow the discussions.

The same for the Documentation and website (for those I can even contribute in my spare time).

Today (2022-05-31) Elli distributed a new firmware of Elli Wallbox (ID.charger and other Volkwagen models).
This offers eebus interaction. However evcc-io/eebus does neither recognize the mDNS coming from the wallbox nor the wallbox lists the EVCC for a HEMS. Looks like the mDNS is also not recognized correctly by the box.

If needed I can provide a wireshark trace for the mDNS (both sources).

There are notices around that SMA can deal with the Elli for EEbus control, also the SMA looks to have some issues showing the Elli, but this is just early information.

I'm trying to get the EEbus SHIP specifcation to verify the mDNS records.

In EVCC log level trace there is not any indication of an mDNS entry being received (in [eebus] and other records)
