Hi, this is mainly FYI, and for whomever else stumbles here.

I tried using this package to send APNs from a Meteor.call(). I emulated the code in this SO post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/22598009/how-can-one-send-ios-push-notifications-from-a-meteor-app

Side note: I had to set the CA file to get past some initial errors. So my options looked something like:

apnOptions =
  cert: "/path/to/cert.pem"
  key: "/path/to/cert.key"
  ca: [fs.readFileSync("/path/to/entrust_2048_ca.cer")]
  passphrase: 'secret'

I also installed the npm debug module to show messages from the underlying apn module.

I got it to send successfully (according to debug msgs) and can even see the handshake with APN servers. However, I never get a notification.

I got it working by removing this meteorite package and using the node apn module directly.
