Just a cosmetic suggestion, allow one to add a background image from the gallery.
When setting up the controller and when using it, the Back/Home/Switcher bar shows which takes away space and makes for accidental quitting of the controller.
Would be great to have it in full screen instead, where you can swipe to reveal the controls bar (like in Youtube / NewPipe).

I am using the Fdroid build on LineageOS 14.1 and I see no buttons or anything in the Controller menu.
The help in the home page says open the controller and press CONNECT. The onlything I see inn the controller page is select layout
It could be as simple as implementing a ping/pong function between server and client, and a port scan search over RFC1918 networks for the client to find server
When tapping two buttons (for example x and o), only one button that tapped.
The title is explicit.
Those correspond to pressing analog stick, it's simply a button under the two axes potentiometer in the hardware
how to import this project in android studio?

I've been using Controlloid on my Lineage OS mido.
But since the last update downloaded from F-droid, the App crashes every time I open the a layout to edit/create it.
Hi, it would be nice if you could add accelerometer so the phone can be used has a steering wheel for example.
I don't know if that's too complicated, but could be a nice feature ๐

As it says. I can crystally see with "preview taps" enabled in dev settings that I tap over multiple gamepad buttons (while holding R1 or whatever), but actual press registers only if I swipe a bit, then "toggles" that button. Like some "pinch zoom mode" was triggered. No such behaviour for Honor, so it must be a Xiaomi-only bug? Android 10. Installed from F-Droid, also noticed this redmi device is not supported for Controlloid in Google Play. Tried to disable MIUI optimisations, enabled all the permissions - no luck. No problems in other apps (e.g. ePSXe). Can you please elaborate on this problem a bit? Any ideas why I'm getting such a strange behavior? Maybe I can help.
i named a layout with an ugly name.... want to rename it but i didnt found any place to do it... have to delete and create it again?

I guess we are all looking for roughly the same thing. Maybe you should add a default, maybe 2 ~ 3 layouts : old Nintendo like without < << >> > and stick, playstation like, xbox like.

On F-Droid it is written that the app takes 12 MiB as a package. Isn't it too much for such an app?
Many games expect players to use and hold down certain buttons. This can out hands on very uncomfortable, awkward positions that cannot be maintained for long and in some cases can make it difficult to build mussle memory. It would be great to add some buttons as toggle, so user can just press them once and do other actions they are required to do. It would be very useful to aim ironsights (if game doesn't suppport toggle aim) and to hold down the square button to charge shots in Mega Man and Metroid games for example. It's particularly a problem with trigger buttons.
